Olympic Torch Relay : Hackney Town Hall

Live Audio Production was approached by The Hackney Empire to help provide production for the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay as it passed Hackney Town Hall.
This was a very high profile event for the Borough, and it had to be right, while working to a very tight budget.
It was expected that up to 2000 people would be at the event, so we had to provide a system that would allow as many of these to hear the event. During the day there was a mix of bands, announcements and DJ. Live Audio Production provided our large band system as a starting point, adding two extra stacks positioned wide of the main system. We also provided Pioneer CDJs & Mixer for the DJ.
The event was a huge success and really brought the spirit of the games to the heart of Hackney. Live Audio Production also provided services for the Mayor of London Showtime event, and Paralympic Torch Relay event both held in the Hackney Town Hall Square.
